Flexisoft
Overview
Flexisoft is an enterprise operations platform with deeply nested workflows (approvals, reporting, permissions, and multi-team collaboration). The redesign focused on clarity, speed, and reducing errors in high-stakes admin tasks.
Goal: Modernize the UI while keeping power users fast. Role: UX lead. Outcome focus: fewer misclicks, faster completion, and easier onboarding.
UX audit
I ran a full audit across navigation, forms, and reporting. Findings were grouped into patterns: inconsistent labels, overloaded screens, and unclear hierarchy.

Information architecture
The new structure mirrors how teams think about work: Requests → Workspaces → Reports. I introduced a consistent page header pattern (title, status, actions) and standardized table filtering and bulk actions.
- Navigation reduced from 14 top-level items to 7 grouped categories
- Forms broken into progressive steps with save states
- Tables unified with reusable filter components
Design system
I built a component system with tokens, spacing rules, and accessibility baked in. This enabled the engineering team to migrate incrementally without visual drift.
- Components: inputs, selects, data tables, modals, alerts
- States: loading, empty, error, permission denied
- Accessibility: focus rings, contrast, keyboard support
Results
After rollout, internal QA and user testing showed fewer form submission errors and smoother task execution for core workflows. Stakeholders also gained confidence due to consistent patterns and clearer status messaging.
